It is scanning the internet to detect
any older Windows operating systems to force auto-updates against
the users' will. Do you know that users can take care of this?
If you have an older Windows system, all you have to do is make
sure the Auto-updater is defunct and can no longer work on the
operating system ... and it's no secret how to do this either!
Click the Start Menu / click Run / type regedit / press Enter
You will be taken to the registry editor! (regedit.exe)
OK, kids. This can be a very dangerous tool fooling around with!
Do not change or delete registry if you don't know what the hell
you are doing because this is how your system functions! Its
how most (if not all) things function on Microsoft Windows!
Here are the instructions to defunct Microsoft Auto-update:
Be very careful and do this right! Step-by-step!
Inside the registry editor, go to "Edit" / press "Find"
You need to copy and paste each CLSID strings posted below.
ONE BY ONE, you go to "edit" and press "find" … type either the CLSID
of each registry (the identification string) or the name of each registry
provided below. Click "find". When it comes up, right click "Permissions"
… go to "Advanced" … unclick "Inherit from parent … " Press "Remove"
… Press "Apply" … Press OK (twice)
When you do this, this will completely nullify that attributed registry
that you have targeted. It will no longer be systemly functionable.
